The Society for Pedagogy, Information and Media (GPI) awards the Comenius EduMedia seal to educational media that are outstanding in terms of pedagogy, content and design. The media library “Digital Career Orientation powered by Deutsche Telekom” (German) was awarded in the category “School Education” with the aim of involving young people in current socio-political debates, informing them about study and career opportunities and supporting them in their career orientation.

Deutsche Telekom's career website once again takes first place in the 2024 Talent Communication study. According to Potentialpark, our high level of professionalism in addressing candidates in a targeted manner, providing transparent and comprehensive information about their careers and jobs and ultimately leading them to apply is crucial for this placement. Because we also demonstrate this competence in social media communication, we took second place in the overall “Talent Communication” study.

We are one of the biggest training companies in Germany. The award as "Germany’s best trainer" from "Capital" magazine proves that the quality is right here too – both in terms of vocational training and dual study programs. Criteria included support, learning in the workplace, opportunities for success, and company commitment.

For 2024, we have also placed ourselves in the top 1% of employers in Germany in the independent meta-study “Leading Employers”. This study is the most comprehensive study of employer qualities in Germany, in which over 250 international sources of various types are regularly taken into account. A total of around 200,000 companies were examined.

We are happy to announce that we’ve been once again awarded as Most Attractive Employer for students in Germany in the Universum Talent Survey 2023. The study pointed out, that the most important employer characteristics for students in Germany are attractive salary, high future income, diverse work tasks, job security and a friendly work environment.
At Telekom we don’t stop here. We do our best to create a workplace where our employees have all the possibilities to fulfill their ambitions and grow together with us. Because only if we question today, we can create a better tomorrow. 

We were able to defend our first place in NetFed's HR Benchmark 2023. Here, the HR websites of the 50 largest companies in Germany are examined. Criteria are, for example: How are insights into the company provided? How well are information and services on the topic of "application" covered? How do the company and the employer engage in dialog with candidates on the website?

For the third time in a row, Deutsche Telekom won Focus Money's "Germany's Best Training Company 2023" seal of approval. For this purpose, DEUTSCHLAND TEST surveyed the 20,000 companies with the most employees in the country. The study is based on four pillars: structural data, training remuneration, training success and additional company offerings.

For the past seven years, LinkedIn, the largest professional network, has been evaluating companies in terms of career opportunities, support for continuing learning, and employee development. But also the commitment to more diversity and inclusion has become an increasingly important factor in the evaluation of companies in recent years. We are all the more pleased to be among the Top10 LinkedIn Top Companies. This shows that our initiatives for an inclusive, vibrant corporate culture and our diverse offerings for personal and professional development are the right way to go.

"Candidate First." That's our approach to provide you with the best possible service when it comes to jobs and careers. In the Potentialpark study, the design of our website and social media channels, our job search and job ads, and our online application were tested against the expectations of the target group. Result: 1st place!

This year we also won gold for the best student communication for the second time in a row! We are proud that our activities to inform about our training and study opportunities as well as our various career guidance offers are well received by pupils. This time, the Azubi Communication Study 2023 by Potentialpark and Ausbildung.de examined the career website, online application and social media platforms of 140 employers and surveyed over 4,500 students on online communication.

In this independent meta-study, we impressed in all six categories – including "employee satisfaction" and "understanding of values". With #QuestionTodayCreateTomorrow, we at Deutsche Telekom have made a new employer promise: We want to appeal to the people who, together with us, are shaping the digital future, questioning the status quo, and seeking progress.

The German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitization awarded us "Employer of the future". Crucial here: Our deep understanding of our customers’ and employees’ needs. The institute also highlighted our modern, innovative corporate culture and our management’s awareness of digitization and sustainability.

Each year, students select their ideal employer in the biggest, national, independent, career-related study – "Universum Talent Survey". This year, over 38,600 students in Germany were asked what features they considered most attractive in a potential employer. IT students voted us into 25th place.

Having taken second place the previous year, we came first in 2022 for the best student communication. The "Azubi Communication Study" by Potentialpark and Ausbildung.de investigated the "Career website", "Online application", "Mobile sites", and "Social media platforms" channels of 100 employers and surveyed 1,300 students about online communication.

Telekom careers took silver in the "Online Talent Communication Study 2022" by Potentialpark. We even took gold in the individual categories "Career website" and "Social media". The Swedish market research institute thereby confirms that we are still right at the top in terms of digital communication with potential candidates.

The independent meta-analysis aims to view employers holistically and enable a comprehensive evaluation based on a wide variety of criteria – including employee satisfaction, working conditions, understanding of values, job security, environmental awareness, and much more. Thanks to very good results, we are among the top 1 percent of all employers in Germany for the first time.

For the design and implementation of a virtual student internship, we received an award in the category "Trainee and university marketing" in 2021. To support young people with their career guidance also and, in particular, during the pandemic, we virtualized our student marketing concept and enabled a wide range of insights online, as well as help with career selection and personal support.

Forbes voted us 32nd among the "World’s Best Employers 2021". This international ranking is based on the feedback of employees from 58 countries. Aspects like image, economic footprint, talent development, equality, and social responsibility were surveyed.

"IT Young Professional" selected us as one of the most attractive employers in Germany and we have improved our attractiveness on the German labor market even further since then.

The "Azubi Communication Study 2021" by Potentialpark and Ausbildung.de awarded Telekom 2nd place. Six thousand students voted our online communication into first place in the "Career website", "Online application", "Mobile sites", and "Social media platforms" categories surveyed for 100 employers.

In the Potentialpark "Digital Talent Attraction" ranking of 2021, our careers website came first as Germany’s best corporate website for potential applicants. In other categories ("Applying Online", "Social Media", and "Mobile Communication") we also impressed with our online channels, taking 2nd place overall.
